Last month, the UC San Diego Hillcrest Outpatient Pavilion (OPP) officially topped out with the final piece of structural steel! This is a major milestone for the project team that has faced many challenges to get to this point. It’s been almost exactly a year since the project bottomed out and began foundations on the parking garage and OPP, and only about 6-months before that is when the project broke ground. The team has come a long way and we are excited about the next phases of building out the OPP interiors and exterior skin, as well as opening the parking garage in early 2024!

Redlands Community Hospital Main Lobby, Gift & Coffee Shop, and Entry Plaza are OPEN! Community Hospitals were severely impacted by COVID patients and mandates. Intelisyn’s Principal, Marc Strange, worked side by side with Redlands Community Hospital to navigate the continually changing requirements and pace of service.

Although the new Main Lobby, Gift Shop, Entry Plaza, and Coffee Shop were complete in June 2020, when an overload of patients was too great in the outdoor tents, these spaces were immediately utilized for a climatized triage area for potential COVID patients.

After nearly 2.5 years, these spaces are now utilized as designed and intended. Congrats team!

Project Highlight: Completed in March 2020, Cedars-Sinai Ventana Cancer Care Clinic provides a convenient location for patients receiving on going cancer care, reducing the strain of traveling to Cedars-Sinai Main Campus in Beverly Hills. The Ventana Clinic was a 30,000 SF Tenant Improvement, including new construction of exam, lab, infusion, and pharmacy spaces. Intelisyn provided project management services from start to finish, design/RFP, construction, and activation.

April 25th, 2023 – Front Porch Community, Vista Del Monte (VDM), in Santa Barbara recently celebrated the Grand Opening of their newly renovated Dining Room, Park View Lounge, and Courtyard. Intelisyn has been providing programming, cost analysis, logistics, and construction management services on multiple projects within the community.

(Also pictured) As part of the continued master facility upgrades,  VDM is currently in the middle of a full Kitchen renovation. A commercial kitchen cannot operate without a permitted and compliant Grease Interceptor.  With current lead times extended for just about all construction materials, it was nice to see the Grease Interceptor installed on time.

One small pick for a crane, one giant leap in maintaining the schedule.
